Lovin the Sun

Every summer I observe the iris flowers on the Esplanade.  I wondered how they would look against the bright sunlight. To achieve my result, I chose to paint these in a complimentary color scheme. The iris flower is truly one of my favorites.  Did I mention that I love the color violet?
